The passion for Scottish
Terriers started in 1969, when M LE PAPE gave his wife the present of a
West Highland White Terrier. All the breeding "Westies" can be
traced back to this origin.
A few year later the Scottish
family was completed by the arrival of the Cairns and then the black and
wheaten Scottish terriers.
In 1998, a new Welsh
breed,
the Sealyham terrier arrived at the kennels. This breed is almost unknown
in France where their births are very rare.
From its amateurs beginnings
in the 1970’s, the kennels became professional in 1981 when it moved to
a 1,5 hectare property in Normandy.
Selection is the prime
objective of the kennels.
All the breeding stock derives
from the best blood lines, English for the Westies and Cairns, French an
American for the Scottish.
All our puppies are registered
in the "Livre des Origines Françaises (LOF)", a record of
bloodlines. They are tattoed, vaccinated, with health certificate. They are reared in a family
atmosphere where they receive constant attention. The caracter of the
puppy is as important as its physical well-being.
Veterinary surveillance is
constant, and a great deal of care goes into the nutritional requirements.
